    Obituary for Frederick Vivian Valentine DiBin

    Frederick Vivian Valentine  DiBin
    In loving memory of Frederick Vivian Valentine DiBin; Fred was born July 17, 1931 to Mary and John DiBin in Ardath, Sask. and passed away April 13, 2015. On June 27, 1959 he married Myrtle Williams and their first child, Brenda Marie, was born October 1, 1960 in Tisdale. On December 10, 1963 their second child, Valerie May, was born also in Tisdale. Fred lost the love of his life on August 16, 1986 to cancer. He was a loving husband and spent every minute he could looking after his wife until the end. Fred worked at various jobs, his last job was at Sargent’s Auto Electric until 1998 when he retired after being diagnosed with cancer. Fred loved his coffee breaks with his friends, loved gardening and woodwork. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and would help them any time possible. He lived from November, 2012 in Caleb Village where he enjoyed his time playing pool and shuffleboard and of course his morning exercises with the Caleb ladies and Don McPhee. If he wasn’t at exercises Don would go and find him. In January he moved into New Market Manor where he lived his last days. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Mary and John, his wife, Myrt and infant son, David, brothers; Garnet, Roger and Ted and his sister Angela.
    Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brenda (Peter) Wiens; grandson, Ryan Wiens (Erin Braumberger) and great granddaughters, Kazmyn and Izabella Wiens; granddaughter, Dawn (Cory) Penill, great grandchildren Rayla, Aneka and River Penill; daughter, Val (Doug) Tkachuk; grandson Trevor (Jaime) Rieger, great grandchildren, Felice, Aidan and Kai Rieger.; granddaughter, Teanna (Britton) Callander and great grandchildren, Emerson and Madilyn Callander; granddaughter, Kristina Tkachuk (Jordan Pierre); brother Louis (Lois) DiBin; sister, Rose Klein-Beekman; sister-in-law, Helen Janzen; brothers-in-law Jim Oxman and Bob Tilburt; as well as many extended family and friends.

    Fred will be forever loved and missed by all of his family and friends. Gone but never forgotten.
