Obituary for Brenda Leslie Nichalle Price

Brenda Leslie Nichall Doig was born on July 11, 1959 at the Union Hospital in Moose Jaw. She grew up in Chamberlain where she attended elementary school and was then bused to the high school in Holdfast for the balance of her education. After high school she worked as an administrative assistant at Regina Broom, IPSCO and Dominion Bridge in Regina. And then she met Terry.

Terry and Brenda were married on July 9, 1983. A few years later their family was complete when Jordan was born on August 20, 1986. Their first home was Rabbit Lake until they moved to Leoville in 1987 taking their mobile home with them. Brenda worked at the Leoville Hospital for a short period before she obtained employment with the credit union. In 1994 they built a house and when they moved to an acreage east of Sylvania in 2000, they once again took their house with them. Brenda went back to work at the credit union in Tisdale in 2002 where she was employed until her passing.

Brenda’s door was always open to anyone who stopped by and all were assured of having a good laugh or two over a cup of coffee or a game of cards. She had an infectious sense of humour and was always conjuring up some prank to play on her co-workers, family or neighbours. Brenda loved reading and growing flowers, which was evident with the numerous planters she proudly displayed on her deck and throughout the yard.

Brenda was predeceased by her uncles Donald Doig and James Uhrich and grandparents Robert (Winnifred) Doig, and Harry (May Stankov) Uhrich.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 32 years, Terry of Tisdale; her son Jordan of Saskatoon; her stepson Trevor (Carrie) Price - children Stella and Kingsley of Warman; her parents Bob and Betty Ann Doig of Battleford; her brother Bryan (Rebecca) Doig of Battleford, - daughter Kathryn (Luc) Blanchard - children Francis and Alfred; - son Cameron Doig (Kari Sharpe) of Battleford; as well as many extended family and friends.
