Geraldine “Gerry” Janzen was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Tony and Katie Kovach on August 18, 1952. She grew up and went to school between Tisdale and Mistatim. After graduating high school she moved to Saskatoon to further her education where she later met Bob.
They lived and worked in Saskatoon when first married in 1975 and then moved to Tisdale later where they raised two daughters.
Gerry enjoyed spending time with Bob, enjoyed her flower garden, spending time with her two daughters and her granddaughter. She worked at the Co-op for numerous years as Tisdale’s “demo lady” who was always there to help everyone.
Gerry passed away quick and peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday November 1, 2016.
Gerry was predeceased by: parents Tony and Katie Kovach, in-laws John and Mary Janzen: brother and sister in-law: Darrell, Norman, Clara, Erma.
Gerry will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Bob and her two daughters: Jennifer (Richard) Caithcart of Regina, Heather Janzen of Nipawin, and her granddaughter Olivia; sisters: Alice Rawcliffe of BC and Helen (Norm) of Tisdale; as well as many nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors
