Mathew was born to parents Gord Kapeller and Connie Purdy on June 12, 1993 in Melfort, Saskatchewan.
Matt was a huge light in this world, he was known and loved by many people. He came from a very large family. His vast network of friends was as numerous as the stars. He was a fisherman, hunter and Redneck extraordinaire. He was his happiest covered in mud, on the back of a horse or just sitting around a campfire having a pop. He could light up a room or stir up a party just by showing up.
Matt was a big brother to a dozen younger siblings; Emily, Chris and Lily Ferner; Levi and Abbie Tanke; Isaiah, Elijah and Hannah Kapeller and newly acquired Jon, Michael, Kendell and Nicholas Loeppky.
Matt was also a big hearted father to two wonderful boys, Jayce Patterson and Jaxon Kapeller; who he was over joyed to share his love of the outdoors and tinkering in the shop. Being a father was truly one of the greatest moments in his life.
Left to cherish every memory big or small of Mathew is the mother of his children; his boys, parents, numerous siblings, grandparents, and a crew too numerous to name in extended family and friends.
