Condolences

Condolence From: Rick Gates
Condolence: Our deepest sympathies to Jim's family. Jim McDiarmid was a good man! A man of his word, stood by it and expected the same, political correctness was for the other fellow, a strong opinion, politeness to yours, quick witted, humorous, entertaining to all ages, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Our family misses you Jim, a country gentleman! Til we meet again. Rick, Shannon & Adam Gates

Condolence From: Dana Reiter
Condolence: When I was a kid spending summers in Mistatim, Jim was living larger than life. I was always amazed, delighted, bewildered, inspired, scared/nervous about the safety of those involved, incredulous, and most often laughing out loud at his various pursuits, adventures, and, well, just how he filled his days really. He'd race by in a horse drawn, homemade chariot, bathe in an old oil barrel, sleep in a round bale rolled out, take us trail riding under a full moon, flip me out of a canoe, kidnap geese, take us for horse drawn winter sleigh rides...on and on... and was usually laughing with a beer, whiskey or orange crush in hand. He was a character like none other I knew and I had an awful lot of fun with Jim in those days. I'll never forget him. R.I.P

Condolence: We were deeply saddened by the Jim's sudden passing To Tracy and Tanis you have our deepest sympathies during this difficult time, Jim and I have been friends for over 60 years, and any time we met he was always joking around and if I was in Mistatim or Tisdale he would find time for a coffee or a cool one. He kept that humor and good spirit to the very end. Jim we are sure going to miss you, rest in peace my friend.
