Donald Hancock was born July 23, 1943 in Tisdale Hospital to Clifford and Annie Hancock. He grew up on the farm at Ridgedale. He attended Ridgedale School until he started farming with his dad and brothers John and Blair; and later joined by nephew Kelly.
Farming was his life right up until his sudden passing on August 14, 2017; doing what he loved best. He was a farmer first, a brother and an uncle and enjoyed very much when family got together or even a cup of coffee with old friends in town on shopping days with Blair.
Donald is predeceased by his father in 1986 and mother in 1990 and sister Edith in 2003.
He will be sadly missed and remembered by his siblings: Bertha Hancock, John and Marianne Hancock, Lillian and John Zapisocki, Audrey and Morris Kennedy, Mildred and Donald Kennedy, Blair Hancock, Linda Hancock, brother-in-law Ed Robinson and aunts Margaret Barnett and Mary Hancock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
