Clarence was born in Plumas, Manitoba on July 25th, 1926 to Roy & Permelia Mitchell, the 2nd youngest of 8 children. He passed away October 22nd, 2017 at the age of 91. Clarence married Ann McLean on January 23rd, 1948. Larry Dale born December 30th, 1951 and Morley Roy, born January 22nd, 1954.
They lived on the Mitchell family farm near Star City. In 1966 the family built and moved into their house on the farm. Over the years, Clarence loved to fish, watch sports & took great pride in having grandchildren & great-grandchildren around. Clarence & Ann also ran the Star City Skating rink as caretakers for 15 years. In 1978, Clarence & Ann built their present cabin at Kipabiskau Regional Park, where they enjoyed family, fishing, friends & neighbours.

Clarence is survived by his son Larry (Carrie), granddaughter Karen (Greg Tyacke), great-granddaughters Emily and Isabella, granddaughter Kim (Mike) great-grandsons Gavin, Dawson and Landon; his son Morley (Brenda), grandson Kelly (Tiffany) great-granddaughter Aliyah and great-grandsons Silas, Emmanual and Elijah, grandson Cory (JoLynn) great-granddaughters Sophie, Bentley, Melodie and Lily.

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Ann, parents Permelia & Roy, his sisters, Emily, Margarete, Ethel & Betty and brothers Stan, Don & Mervin.
