    Obituary for Malcolm George Clarke

    Malcolm George Clarke
Malcolm George Clarke was born at home on the Homestead on August 3, 1936, to Amy (Tann) and Bruce Clarke. He was the fourth of five children. Malcolm attended Berkley School and worked odd jobs. He worked with Alvin Chase, and then Willie VanKoughnett doing carpentry. This is where his life long career began. Malcolm built many different types of buildings including bee sheds, and garages, but is especially known for his houses in the Arborfield, Carrot River, Nipawin, and Zenon Park areas. On July 14, 1958 Malcolm married Helen May Perrin. They moved to Birch River, Manitoba where Malcolm worked at a plywood factory and Helen taught school. They returned to Arborfield in 1960. Malcolm enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, and in his earlier days, dancing. He planted trees, made a rock garden, had a vegetable garden, and maintained those and his lawn beautifully. Malcolm will be sadly missed by his loving family: wife Helen of almost 60 years; children Darrell (Jeanette) and Earl (Mari); grandchildren Christopher (Rosetta), Stacey (Nelson), Shane (Sasha), Ryan, Jordan, and Bailey (Brady); numerous great grandchildren; sisters Phyllis (George) Haines, Winona Le Grand; brothers-in-law Bill (Anne) Perrin, John (Glenna) Perrin, Walter (Angie) Perrin; sisters-in-law Elva (Bob) Holmes, Myrna Schellenberg, Fay Perrin; (Nonni Jonsson) step sister Marg (Wayne) Stanley; step brother Richard (Anne) Livingston, and many nieces and nephews. Malcolm was well known and will be missed by many friends and neighbours. Malcolm was predeceased by his parents Amy and Bruce Clarke; step mother Eva Clarke; brothers Bob and Stan Clarke; sisters-in-law Linda Clarke (Berenesky), Marlene Perrin, stepsister June Ryba; brothes-in-law Bob Le Grand, Henry LeBlanc, Ralph Selin, George Desrosiers, John Schellenberg, and nephews Robin Clarke, Dwayne Haines, and George, Ken and Allan Clarke.

We love him and will miss him forever
