Aniela Dzik was born on May 6, 1917 in Kamionka, Poland. She married Henry Dzik in 1938. They raised three children on the family farm. They immigrated to Canada in April 1959 and settled in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. In October 2011, Aniela moved to Melfort to live with daughter and son-in-law.
She was a kind and generous person. Aniela loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the people of Tisdale because they were so good to her. Aniela passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the Melfort Hospital.
Aniela was predeceased by her husband Henry, daughter Mary (in infancy), son Marvin and daughter-in-law Linda. Aniela will be sadly missed by her children: Josie (Mike) Mareski and John Dzik; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother Stanley (Mary) Podgorski in Krakow, Poland and many nieces, nephews and friends.
