It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful Mother, Clara Jackson, on May 27th, 2016 at the age of 96. Mom passed away peacefully in New Market Manor with loving family around her.

Myrtle (Clara) was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan on October 12th, 1919 to parents Andrew and Myrtle Brown. She was raised on a farm in the Kindersley district until the age of 12. The family moved to the McKague/Reigate district where her dad homesteaded. Clara attended Franklin and Reigate schools.

Clara married Bert Jackson on October 2nd, 1942. Shortly after their marriage, Bert was sent overseas to serve his country for WWII. Returning home in 1945, they bought a quarter of land and together they built their home and raised their family of six children: Lyle (1947); Winnie (1948); Arden (1952); Lynda (1954); Fern (1958); Lloyd (1961). After Bert’s passing in 2009, Clara moved into MacKay Towers in Tisdale, and resided there until January, 2015 when she moved to New Market Manor.

Clara’s life was her family, and of course the Lord Jesus. She was a wonderful example to all of us. She was a proud Grandma to 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She found great contentment in spending time on her deck enjoying the birds and flowers and watching the sunsets.

Clara was predeceased by her husband Bert Jackson, parents Andrew and Myrtle Brown, brother William Brown and sisters Winnie Chapell and Nellie McKinnon.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory is son Lyle (Sharon), daughter Winnie, son Arden (Glenda), daughter Lynda (Bob), daughter Fern (Dwayne), son Lloyd (Wanda); 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with more to follow; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A mother`s love is a circle.
