Eileen was born on May 19, 1934. Her parents were Fred and Mildred Dixon who lived east of Bjorkdale. She lived in Bjorkdale area until after grade one when her family moved to BC, first to Langley then to Victoria.

When she was nine Mildred passed away and Eileen and her sister Emily moved back to Bjorkdale to live with Grandpa and Grandma Kelly. Several years later her father remarried and the girls moved back to Victoria to live with him. Unfortunately her dad became terminally ill and the two girls moved back to Bjorkdale and lived with Grandpa and Grandma Kelly once again.

Eileen married Paul Lupien on July 7, 1952 in Tisdale. They had a homestead north east of Bjorkdale on the Peesane grid .Paul passed away in April 27, 198 .

She remarried to Herman Lupien on July 5, 1984. She moved to his acreage also north east of Bjorkdale with her mother-in-law. Herman passed away June 24th 2005. She stayed on the acreage until November 2010 when she moved Chelan with Ron Back .She stayed there until her passing.
Eileen's was always an active person enjoying gardening and having flower . She had lots of interests and loved fishing, hunting and camping. She also had a great love of music and loved to dance. Although she never had children of her own she had a special connection with Herman’s four boys treated them as her own.
