Marie Eleanor Sim was born on September 15, 1922 in Glenavon, Saskatchewan to parents George and Dorothy Sim. Marie came into a family of many brothers: Gordon, Harry, Fred, Orville, Gerald, Glen and Albert; all of which have predeceased her.

Marie was very educated and worked several careers; Teacher, X-Ray Technician, Pharmacist and homemaker. Enjoying many aspects of all these jobs and learning lots along the way.

Marie enjoyed many hobbies and activities; gardening, knitting, crocheting and a dedicated church member. Marie enjoyed traveling and visited such places as England, Scotland and Ireland. She had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats. Marie especially loved to visit with her family and friends, her teapot was always boiling.

Left to cherish Marie’s memory are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
