    Obituary for Kathleen Molnar

    Kathleen Molnar
Kathleen Maureen Molnar (Burt) entered this world on April 11th, 1945 to Elwyn and Dorothy Burt of Rosetown, Saskatchewan and unexpectedly left it on June 28th, 2018 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
Kathy grew up on the family farm with her brother Terry and completed all of her schooling in Rosetown in 1964. Kathleen married Andrew Molnar of Bjorkdale on July 14th, 1973 in Rosetown and then moved to the Molnar family farm in Bjorkdale where they built their home and welcomed their two children, Michael and Michelle. Kathy was an important part of the family farm and was an active member in the Bjorkdale community. She was involved in the local Cumberland Regional College, United Anglican Church Women’s group, Bjorkdale Fair committee, and a noon hour supervisor at the school, as well as, a substitute bus driver. Kathy loved to garden, knit, read, play cards and have coffee with her neighbours and friends. Her biggest pride and accomplishment was her children and their achievements. Kathy adored being a Grandma and was so proud of her four beautiful grandchildren, Brant, Cheldynn, Sydnie, and Blake. Everyone always knew what her grandchildren were doing as she beamed with pride when she talked about them.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Andrew, parents Elwyn and Dorothy, numerous aunts, uncles, brother and sister in laws. Left to cherish her memory are her children Michael (Tanya) and Michelle (Raymond), her grandchildren, Brant, Cheldynn, Sydnie, and Blake, brother Terry Burt, niece Heather Marie, nephew Dorian, Aunt Gay Hunt, best friend Grace Pelletier, as well as her sister in law Margaret (Albert) Baumgartner, along with many other nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
