Obituary for Bernice Marie Barnett

Bernice Barnett was born on Aril 27, 1946 in Zenon Park, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 10, 2018 at Newmarket Place at the age of 72.
Bernice worked at the Weyburn Union Hospital. She also worked part time as Post Mistress for the holiday season at the Zenon Park Post office, as well as helping with the family farm operations. Bernice married the love of her life, Gordon Barnett on August 27, 1966. To this union they had three daughters Fay, Charlotte and Monica.
Bernice was involved with the community and enjoyed volunteering with the ladies Auxiliary in Zenon Park. She also enjoyed curling with Gordon in Zenon Park, and loved cake decorating. Bernice’s true passion in life was card making and her different crafts.
We will miss her presence in our lives and each of us will remember her in our hearts and in our memories.
Bernice was predeceased by her parents Louis and Martha Chartier and brothers Paul and Claude, sister Delores and brother-in-law Andrew.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Gordon, daughters: Fay (Gerry), Charlotte (Jason), Monica (Marc); grandchildren Courtney, Nathan, Matthew and Justin; her sisters Suzanne Chartier and Jackie (Larry Brewster), sisters-in-law Jeanette Chartier, Barbara (Armand Bourassa) and Gladys (Dennis Kennedy); as well as several nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends.
