Obituary for Tyler Alexander Tony

Tyler was born at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to parents Celena Tony and Dexter Thomas. He was the oldest of seven children; Kelly, Lucas, twins Riley and Dylan, Kaley and Brody. When he came home to Tisdale he was received warmly with affection by his grandma. Tyler has lived with his grandmother since he was 6 years old. He was grandma’s special boy till this present day. He did however leave grandma’s a few times to give grandma a little break. Over the years he was a normal, out-going young person. Who enjoyed the pleasures of a youthful life. He liked his young years in school especially in the elementary school education. As he continued growing he took pleasures enjoying the outdoor activities like bike riding with his friends on the warm summer days; and being adventurous and exploring new things. When he got older he started showing an interest in sketching and drawing which he became good at. As time went on he began to have a love of music, even composing and writing his own songs. Tyler had a kind, caring, humorous generous heart; he would share things in his life with his family and friend. He also had a great love and compassion for animals, especially pets that came into his life. Later on in years he sowed a maturity and knowledge in his young life; showing his independence where he loved cooking. He often said to me “Grandma you worry too much” I would reply “Yes, that’s my name…Worrier”. He would smile; I will never forget his smile!

He is predeceased by members of the Tony side and members of the Thomas side. Left to cherish his memory are his grandmother Jackie, mother Celena, uncles: George and Raymond Tony, his 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Aunt Jennifer and cousin Tristan; as well as numerous family members on the Thomas side. He will be greatly missed. He is so lucky to be close to God and Jesus. “May God bless you”
