Life Story for Lily Bansley

Lily was born Dec 11, 1927 to Rose Chandler and Edward Frank Swayne in their home at #3 Fuller's Vale, Headley, Borden, Hants, England.
She married Charles Bansley in October, 1945, while he was serving with the RCEME during WWII in England. They were married at All Saint Anglican Church in Headley, where Lily had been baptized as an infant.
Lily and Charles have five children: Carole Zoerb, Barry (Judith), Wayne (Sherryl), Ray (Joline), and Joyce (Jason Bzdel). They have fifteen grand children, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Lily immigrated to Canada in August 1946, to join Charlie at their family homestead in Leacross, Sask. They lived there until Charlie's death in June 1997.
Lily moved to "The Towers" in Tisdale in August, 1997. She enjoyed many years there enjoying old friendships from her farming days and making many new friends.
In January 2019, Lily became ill and moved to Pineview Lodge in Nipawin where she resided until her death on June 3, 2019.
Besides her husband Charles, Lily is pre-deceased by her parents, her sister Joyce, her half-sister Alice, and her half-brother George.
