Obituary for Bonnie Lynn Henderson

Bonnie was born on June 23, 1958 in Arborfield hospital. She grew up on her parent’s farm near the Girwood School. She knew her future husband growing only 6 miles apart, so they can’t give a big story on how they met. But Bonnie and Darwin started dating in high school fell in love and later got married on September 10 1977.Bonnie and Darwin moved to Lloydminster to “make a fortune,” but after the oil business hit rock bottom they moved back home to Crooked River. They bought an acreage between Crooked River and Eldersley and that is where the official Henderson home became. They raised 3 children Darla (1987) Kaley (1990) And Lacey (1993) at their homestead. Bonnie was in her glory, she had a beautiful home to raise her kids. She planted a huge garden every year, over 35 plants in the house and loved to crochet afghans which many cherish. Later in life she was blessed with 6 granddaughters; and those girls were her passion.
Bonnie was predeceased by her father Carl Wilkinson, mother Eileen Wilkinson (nee Musselman), and father-in-law George Henderson; as well as extended family that went on before Bonnie.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Darwin Henderson and there kids and grandchildren: Darla Henderson and Burke Cunningham and their daughters Taila, Jayleen and Adalee; Kaley and Jordan Wilcox and their daughters Jovie and Hayden; and Lacey and Cody Wicks and their daughter Harley; her brothers Calvin Wilkinson and his wife Bernadine, Glen Wilkinson and his wife Karen and Mark Wilkinson and his partner Judy Noble and her little sister Laurie Eddleston and her husband Darcy; and all their families; Henderson side: mother-in-law Eileen Henderson and brother-in-law Keith (Teresa) and sisters-in-law Sharon (Russell) Letwinetz and Cheryl Papp and their families; as well as many extended family and friends.
