Obituary for Weslie Robin "Wes" Wilkie

Weslie Robin Wilkie was born September 1980 to Dianne Horn (Derosiers) and Barry Wilkie at Tisdale, Saskatchewan. He passed from this life July 11, 2019
Weslie attended school in Bjorkdale, where he enjoyed playing hockey and football. He often talked about their football team having the opportunity to travel to Texas to play.
After school Weslie headed west to Alberta to work. He tried a few different things, ending up in the oilfield where he became a consultant for10 years.
Weslie married Amber on July 14, 2007. They had two children, Ayden and Rowan. Weslie was a loving husband and father. His main focus in life was to provide his family with everything they could ever want or need.
Weslie spent all his leisure time with his family. They enjoyed sledding, boating and quadding. He taught his children how to knee board and surf behind the boat. Everything in his life was about family. Weslie loved speed! He operated at top speed, whether it was work or play. It was amazing to see what he could accomplish in a day.
As the oilfield slowed down, Weslie returned to his home town and farmed with his mother and step father, Dianne and Robyn Horn. Within a short time he realized that farming was what he wanted to do and their loving guidance he was well on his way to being a great farmer.
