Obituary for Bertha May Johnson

Bertha May Johnson was born May 5, 1931 to Edith & Guy Temple in a small cabin in Ontario. Bertha had 10 siblings; 4 sisters and six brothers; she was the sixth eldest. Bertha lived in Ontario with her parents and siblings until 1939 when they moved to a farm 6 miles north of Carrot River, Saskatchewan. She attended Blue Jay School until grade 11 when she had to leave school to help out on the family farm.

When Bertha was 17 she met Gustav Adolf Johnson and they were married April 5, 1949. They moved to their own Homestead where they raised six children; Brenda, Connie, Jackie, Dean, Charlene and Shawn. They also looked after several foster children throughout the years.

Bertha had many hobbies and interests over the years. She loved hunting, trapping, gardening, cooking, baking, playing crib and knitting. She also loved angels and had quite and extensive collection of them. But most importantly she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.

Bertha received her wings November 10, 2019. We love and miss you
