Obituary for Flora Isabelle Curry

Mom was born on January 31, 1921 at St. Brieux, Saskatchewan to parents Frederick and Anna Frost.; and in 1936 the family moved to New Osgoode. In 1939 Flora married George Curry; she was a homemaker, gardener, seam-stress and busy with 6 children.

Flora was involved in picnics, hockey, ball and parties in the small community. She lived in Tisdale for the last 49 years. Dad passed away in 1988 and mom continued to live in their home until July 4, 2019. She then moved into Newmarket Place where she said they were all good to her and loved playing the games.

Flora is predeceased by her parents Fred and Anna Frost, husband George, son Robert, granddaughters Kathy and Brenda, grandson Michael, 3 infant grandsons, brothers: Murray, Harry, Harold and Bert, sisters Mabel and Dorothy.

Left to cherish Flora’s memory is her children: Harry (Deanna), Clifford (Paulette), (Margaret), Phyllis (Doug), Donna (Don) and Eugene; grandchildren: (Chris), Dwayne, Debbie (Mark), Corrina (Dan), Bobbi (Dennis), Pam (Chris), Chris (Alanda), Gina (Bruce), Michael (Charlene) Michelle (Vincent), Tim (Jenn), Burke (Jamie), Cody, Shannon (Murray), Jeanine (Dave), Melissa (Gilles), Garett (Brooke) and Megan (Levi); 35 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren and well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
