To love a Mum

To love a mum and then to part,
Is the greatest pain to the human heart.
Many years of striving with little time to play,
Loving and giving all the way.
A cherished smile with a heart of gold,
To the greatest mum the world could hold.
Many happy memories, fond and true,
From children who thought the world of you.
Beautiful memories will be cherished forever,
Of happy days we had together.
With aching hearts we whisper low,
“God bless Mum, we miss you so!”


When I am Gone

I want to leave behind me a short note
Just to say good-day,
This world is such a big place,
And full of troubles too,
But it is such a nice place,
When there are friends like you.

When I am gone I want to leave
A short note just to say,
Do not grieve for me,
When I am on my way,
Cause I’ll be so happy there,
And wait for you to come,
So instead of crying, say a prayer for me,
As I journey HOME.
