Obituary for Allan Clifford Knutson

Allan Clifford Knutson was born October 18, 1943 at Sec. 2 Tp. 41 Rge. 15 W2nd, Saskatchewan. He passed away November 14, 2020 in Tisdale at the age of 77. He was the 3rd of eight children born to parents Clarence and Caroline Knutson (Schweitzer).
Allan took his schooling at the Everton Country School near Archerwill, Saskatchewan. Allan went to Thompson, Manitoba with his friend Larry Fountain to look for work on January 3, 1967. They got work at Inco Nickel Mine. Allan and Larry were great friends, Larry passed away April 9, 2008.
In December 1997 Allan had open heart surgery and retired from Inco shortly after, he was employed by Inco for almost 31 years. Allan lived in Thompson for almost 53 years, when his health declined, it forced him to come to Saskatchewan to be close to family. He lived with Paulette in Tisdale for the last year of his life. Allan loved sitting in Paulette’s backyard and watching the birds and the squirrels. Finding peace in the nature. He struggled with many health problems and passed away form Kidney failure in Tisdale on November 14, 2020.
Allan was predeceased by his parents, brother Carl & sister Esther.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Palmer Knutson, sisters: Annette Empey, Corrine (Gordon) McCormick, Linda (Bill) Morgans and Paulette Knutson; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. We will remember his sense of humor, and will especially remember his loving and bright smile.
