Obituary for David Carl Sinitoski

David was born in Churchill, Manitoba to Paul and Anne (Rosset) Sinitoski. He lived there until 1963 when the family moved to Tisdale. David received his education in Tisdale. Growing up he had a love for sports and he excelled at baseball, hockey, track and field, and billiards. His supply of friends growing up was never ending, he cherished their friendships.

After leaving Tisdale, David owned and operated his own successful painting business in Brooks, Alberta. His health and medical concerns brought David home to be closer to his family again, where he resided for his remaining years.

One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on the bench downtown greeting people that passed by. He always had a friendly smile, a wave, and encouraging words to anyone that stopped to say hello. If he wasn't sitting you would see him putting miles on his bike in the summer. He had a passion for gardening, flowers, music and his movies. His pride and joy were the vehicles he owned; he took great care of them. The last couple of years he took to the rink again, he enjoyed strapping on his skates and going for a spin out on the ice. He collected sports car magazines, stereo equipment and classic rock vinyl records.

David always looked forward to family functions, the more family the better. He very much enjoyed his weekly trips to the Melfort farmer's market with his Uncle Johnny. He always kept in close contact with his mom, never missing a daily phone call to her. He loved to tell everyone how proud he was of his family, especially his niece and nephews.

David was predeceased by his father Paul Sinitoski. his brother Kenneth Sinitoski, his stepfather Bill Rosset and his niece Christine Surgeson.

He leaves behind to mourn his mother Anne Rosset, his sister Cathy (Charlie) Musselman , his nephews Cailen and Chris Musselman, his niece Cahli (Cameron) Eplett, his half sister Gloria Gysler and her children Anita Surgeson, Bonnie (Travis) Flahr and Jeff Surgeson, his half sister Catherine Letwinetz and her children Jason, Joel and Cody Letwinetz, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Life's journey has been a difficult one, now it's time to rest. Sadly, missed but never, never forgotten.
