Obituary for Sharon Lynn Fedirko
Sharon Lynn Fedirko (nee Guest) was born on May 11, 1962 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. She was the second oldest child of Wilfred and Darlene Guest. Lynn lived and went to school in Sylvania, Saskatchewan for most of her childhood years then her family moved out to the farm by McKague where she attended McKague School until Junior High and then went to Tisdale for High School.
Lynn met the love of her life Richard Fedirko in the winter of 1978 at a hockey game in the Archerwill Skating Rink. They married in 1980 and to this union four children were born.
Lynn and Richard farmed for many years by Nora, Saskatchewan. They started their own trucking company in 1998, they hauled grain until 2000 when they began hauling oil in the oil patch in Alberta and then moved there shortly after. They remained there until 2008 when they moved back home to the McKague area. Richard took a job running grader for the RM of Barrier Valley and Lynn went to work at Saskopark Lodge and later Newmarket Place in Tisdale, Saskatchewan; where she remained working until her passing.
Lynn had a love for music especially singing. She even spent weekends singing at the Cove in Greenwater for a couple of years, back in the 90’s. She enjoyed camping with her grandchildren; she really looked forward to her morning coffee where she would sit and look out at the lake and talk with Richard. She loved the outdoors and wildlife; but her greatest love was her family. Her love for them all will be unmatched and felt by those closest to her for years to come. Lynn left a legacy of love laughter and some amazing memories with anyone blessed to have known her.
Lynn was predeceased by her son Nathan Fedirko, mother Darlene Guest, brother David Guest, nephews Micheal and Joshua Bourque and father-in-law Peter Fedirko.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 41 years Richard Fedirko, daughters Phyllis Fedirko and LoriAnn (Shawn) Johnson and son Kalum (Kristen) Fedirko; grandchildren: Brittany Fedirko, Christian Prevost, Sydney & Ethan Hockey, Daniellyn, Aubree and Madisyn Johnson and Everett Fedirko; great grandchild Blaise Cotterill – Fedirko; father Wilfred Guest; sister Joanne (Brad) Bourque and brother Colin (Donna Jean) Guest; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
