Jean Adeline Thomas passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023 at the age of 95.
Jean Thomas was born to Adeline(Holt)and George Franklin at Sylvania in July 1927.
Jean grew up on her parents farm south of Sylvania. She attended school at Beach Grove school until she went out to work. She married Elmore Thomas in 1945. Jean and Elmore farmed together for 45 years. They loved to travel and spent 20 winters in Arizona.
Jean spent her life looking after her family. She was wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she excelled in every role. We all have memories of her kindness, generosity and all her wonderful meals. She was always there to help whenever one anyone needed her.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her daughter Shiela Bowditch, her son Levern Thomas, son-in-law Fred Bowditch and grandson-in-law Wes Wilkie.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Myrna Thomas grandchildren Ryan(Jolene)Bowditch and their children Carlie and Amy, Danielle(Greg)Bertsch and their daughter Addison, Brook(Krista)Thomas and their children Lane, Carter and Ethan, Renee(Terry)Smith, and their children Autumn, London, and Indiana, Amber Wilkie and her children Ayden and Rowan, Leigh Bowditch and his children Lindsey and Frankie.
