Don passed away peacefully on December 7, 2015 at the Arborfield and District Health Care Centre at the age of 96 years.

Born in Keyes, Manitoba, living there until he was 8 years old when the family moved east of Arborfield. Don was involved in logging and lumber industry for many years with his brothers and later years working in various mill camps.

He enlisted in the army along with his brothers and served overseas for 4 years. When he returned home he married Pauline Bernesky and bought some farmland in the Huntdale area in the early 1950’s and farmed until the mid. 1970’s when Don and Pauline retired and sold the farm, living in Arborfield.

Don lived in Carrot River Pasqua Place home which he liked very much enjoying every day with his extended family. In 2015 he moved to Arborfield and District Health Care Centre until his passing.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Gerry (Trish); grandson, Brett (Stacia) their children: Mia, Maddex, Farrah; grandson, Jaret (Kaiti); as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, numerous family and friends.

A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather,
