Donald Karl was born January 1, 1936 in Aylsham, Saskatchewan to parents Ture and Hilda Steelbrand. Don attended school in Carlea, Saskatchewan for his early education then moving on to Nipawin, Saskatchewan for his high School years.
Don farmed in the Carlea and Aylsham area from 1952 to 1995; and in 1996 retired from farming and moved into Nipawin. In 2006, Don sold the house in Nipawin and moved into a senior residence in Tisdale, Saskatchewan; he was happy there with the many friendly residents and great meals. He resided there until his passing on April 24, 2018.
Don is predeceased by his parents Ture and Hilda Steelbrand and his nephew Jason Steelbrand.
Left to cherish his memory is his brothers Jack of Langham, Saskatchewan and Dave (Sheila) Steelbrand of Calgary, Alberta; as well as extended family and friends.
