    Obituary for Richard Erdman Jabusch

Long-time resident Richard Jabusch, 84, passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2015 in the Tisdale Hospital after living with cancer for several years. Richard was born on April 17, 1930. In his early years he lived on the family farm near Saskatoon at Bergheim, Saskatchewan. Richard came to Tisdale in 1946 and at the age of sixteen began working on local farms in the summer and at logging camps in the winter. He then dedicated the next 36 years of his life working for Magnus Construction. In retirement he enjoyed puttering and fixing, working in his yard, and meeting people on his social circuits, which included coffee row and his bicycle route. Most of all he was a devoted and caring husband, father and grandfather.
Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth (Le Grand), 3 sons and their spouses – Kalvin (Wendy), Kevin (Cheryl), and Kirby (Cathy); and 8 adult grandchildren – Brand (Jessica), Haley, Robyn, Lindsay (Ian), Curtis, Colin, Brianna, and Carmen. After having their noses buttered at many a family meal, they all grew up enjoying him for his sense of humour and his love of teasing.
At his request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers you are invited to make a donation in his memory to the Tisdale Hospital.
